May 11 elections, ID card distribution offices will be open on Saturday as well

The Ministry of Interior announced that identity card distribution offices will be open on Saturday, May 10, 2025.

This decision was taken by the company "IdentiTek", with the aim of helping citizens who were unable to collect their documents on time.

"IdentiTek" application offices will be open from 09:00 to 14:00 for the collection of identity cards.

"These days, an increased flow of applications has been observed from citizens whose identity documents have expired, driven by the general election process.

"The Government also approved Normative Acts so that every citizen can vote, even if the biometric document they possess has expired. These measures are taken in order to guarantee the smooth conduct of the electoral process and that every citizen can exercise the right to vote without any obstacles ," the Ministry of Interior announced.
