Police have escorted three protesters following incidents recorded during the protest held this Friday on "Deshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard, where Democratic Party supporters attempted to move towards the Ministry of Interior.
According to preliminary information, the police cordon blocked the advance of the protesters, while the situation became tense with clashes between demonstrators and law enforcement.
Several acts of violence were recorded during the protest, with protesters throwing stones, pyrotechnics, fireworks, and Molotov cocktails at police officers.
As a result of the incidents, three National Security Force Police officers were injured. They were transported for medical assistance to the Military Hospital and, according to the authorities, are out of danger.
Police have not yet provided further details regarding the identities of the protesters escorted or the charges that may be brought against them, while investigations into the incidents continue.
