The opposition protest in Tirana continues to remain tense, while numerous police forces have blocked the movement of protesters near the former "Dajti" hotel.
The crowd of protesters, which left the Prime Minister's Office area in the direction of the Ministry of Interior and the Parliament, was stopped by a police cordon at the entrance to the segment near the Namazgja Mosque.
Democrats have attempted several times to break the security cordon, but without success, while constant cries of "Open the way" can be heard from the crowd.
Meanwhile, the police have occasionally used pressurized water to keep protesters away and prevent them from advancing towards the Parliament area.
Tensions and verbal clashes between protesters, opposition MPs and law enforcement continue on the ground, while the situation remains dynamic.
