Weather forecaster Hakil Osmani from "MeteoAlb" says that temperatures are expected to drop this weekend.
Today, until the afternoon hours, remains under the dominance of frequent clouds, which will create opportunities for few moments with rain drops. The afternoon and evening hours will mainly bring the development of clouds in the northern areas, creating opportunities for isolated rain showers, but it is predicted that the late evening and morning of Saturday will bring the development of clouds in the entire Albanian territory, making that the rains are present not only in the northern areas, but in the whole territory it is expected that we will have the rains present.
Regarding the hours of Saturday afternoon, we will have a gradual improvement in the weather conditions, first in the northern areas and then during the evening it is expected that the central areas will also pass to the predominance of stable weather, while the southern and southeastern areas will remain under the influence of rain and snow, which will continue to be present until Sunday morning. Then, we have an improvement in the weather conditions in these areas as well, causing us to have clearings and cloudy passages.
But, this weekend will also bring a drop in air temperatures. Although maximums will be recorded up to 18 degrees Celsius today, it is expected that the weekend will bring an immediate drop of several degrees Celsius, making the minimum values more significant and their drop during Sunday, registering at minus 4 or minus 5 degrees Celsius in the mountainous areas, while the maximum will be no more than 10 or 11 degrees Celsius, making it a cold, typical winter day. But, also, on Saturday there will be a strengthening of the wind parameter, making it problematic at some times.', said Osmani.
