The worsening weather continues to worsen the situation in the north of the country, where after the floods of recent days, heavy snowfalls have caused serious problems in road traffic. For safety reasons, the authorities have decided to temporarily suspend the movement of vehicles during the night hours on the Bogë - Qafë Thore - Theth axis.
According to official sources, this segment is considered high-risk due to the possibility of avalanches, while bad weather conditions and reduced visibility make movement especially dangerous after dark. For this reason, the road will remain closed until the early hours of the morning.
Traffic will be allowed only in emergency cases and only under the escort of snow removal vehicles and Police services, which will be on standby to monitor the situation on the ground.
Authorities are calling on residents and drivers to avoid unnecessary travel in this area and to follow official announcements until weather conditions improve.
