On Monday, May 18, our country will be affected by relatively unstable weather conditions.

According to the forecast of the Military Meteorological Service, the weather will be characterized by alternations of clear skies and moderate cloudiness, which will occasionally be locally dense.

The most pronounced cloudiness is expected to appear in the mountainous areas of the north and east of the country. In these areas, light and isolated rain is forecast, mainly during the noon and afternoon hours.

The wind will blow from the northwest to the west, with an average speed of about 6 meters per second. Along the coastline, in valley areas and during the development of cloudiness, the wind is expected to gain intensity up to 10 meters per second.

Regarding sea conditions, waves in the Adriatic and Ionian Seas are expected to be low, with force 1 to 2.

Coastal cities such as Vlora and Saranda are expected to record temperatures of up to 23-24 degrees Celsius, while in mountainous areas such as Kukës and Korça maximum temperatures will be lower.
