The Democratic Party's open list candidate in the Tirana district who failed to secure a seat in the Assembly, Myslym Murrizi, said in the studio of the "Free Zone" show on MCN TV that he was offered to be on the closed list, but he did not accept.
According to Murriz, the state has bought votes in all forms.
" I was offered to be on a closed list, but I refused. For 10 years, my fight has been for an open list. As a former student in December, I stood with two fingers up for freedom and true democracy, when the sovereign's vote counts."
The state has bought votes in all forms, from intimidation and pressure for jobs, the forgiveness of fines, 50 thousand lekës for pensioners, and even the dirty money of the criminal world.
"I'm not one of those who say our votes were stolen from the ballot box. Vote buying was done without accounting ," he said.
