Based on this forecast, the captaincy of the port of Vlora has announced that due to the deterioration of the weather, the launching of small vessels and fishing vessels will be prohibited starting from 22:00 this evening.
While international shipping vessels will continue to operate normally according to the respective destinations. This situation is expected to continue until around 18:00 on Friday.

Notice of worsening hydrometeorological conditions during the dates 03-04.10.2024!
Based on the forecast for the deteriorating hydrometeorological situation inside and outside the bay of Vlora, during the dates 03-04.10.2024 starting from 02:00 on 03.10.2024 in the SOUTH-SOUTH-EAST direction, in the force up to 7-8bft at a speed wind up to 20-25 m/s and wave height from 1.50 to 2.50 meters, in order to prevent any unexpected situation due to atmospheric conditions, we request the cooperation of all entities that exercise activity in the maritime field, to take all measures necessary for securing the tools in the port and increasing the readiness of the crew in the vessels.
1. To prohibit the equipment with a permit-launch of small boats and those for fishing that operate in the open sea starting from 22:00 on 02.10.2024.
2. All drivers of small boats and fishing vessels operating inside and outside the bay of Vlora to consider the hydrometeorological conditions and take measures for their safety.
3. International sea transport ships will continue to operate normally according to the respective destinations.
4. The improvement of the deteriorated hydrometeorological situation for small boats and fishing will be after 18:00 on 04.10.2024.
