A blatant corruption scheme uninvestigated by SPAK
Among the corrupt schemes of the Berisha Family, not coincidentally non grata by the US and Great Britain for corruption and undermining democracy, the most flagrant and banal is that of Liri Berisha with her foundation, which she turned into a model of corruption and money laundering, during the time when her husband Sali Berisha was prime minister.
If Argita had put a stop to every businessman who sought to solve a problem in the government, taking 3%, if Shkëlzeni had legalized the work of a realtor by declaring hundreds of thousands of euros that he took from businessmen to get work done for his father, the prime minister, and if his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi, set his sights on lands in Tirana and turned them into construction sites with the signature of his father-in-law, the prime minister, Liri Berisha used her foundation and the great name of Mother Teresa to take tribute from businessmen for the signature of her husband, the prime minister, who had transferred money and public assets worth hundreds of millions of euros to them.
On the evening of October 13, 2012, a group of businessmen favored by the Berisha government paid Liri Berisha over half a million euros. The money was channeled through the family's bank, Intesa San Paolo Bank , which gave Shkelzen a 1.8 million euro loan with fictitious collateral to set up a blueberry factory in Gerdec.
The businessmen entered the competition by supposedly buying modest and mediocre paintings at auction, with high values, as contributions to Mrs. Liri Berisha's foundation for autistic children, but the money, after being transferred through a non-transparent mechanism, allegedly ended up in the pockets of Argita and Shëlzen, investing it in real estate, a story that will be discussed below.
Businessmen who benefited from Berisha's power were called and lined up at events of the Liri Berisha Foundation, to pay in turn, sharing the public loot that Sali Berisha had given them as prime minister.
They bought modest paintings as if they were by Picasso, without ever having seen them before (most of them had only seen euros). They paid the lek and received the paintings, some of which later ended up in Berisha's house.
The protagonist of this suspected corruption scheme was Rezart Taçi, who bought a painting by Alush Shima for 100 thousand euros.

Para se të vinte në pushtet në 2005, Berisha e kishte kërcënuar Taçin se do ta nxirrte para drejtësisë dhe se do t’i merrte pasuritë dhe paratë publike që i kishte dhënë qeveria e Fatos Nanos, duke ia kthyer shqiptarëve. Por, pas ardhjes në pushtet, Taçi u kthye në biznesmenin kryesor në oborrin e Familjes Berisha. Taçi kapi tregun e shitjes së karburanteve, duke arritur kulmin gjatë pushtetit të Berishës 2005-2013.
Përmes një procesi të paqartë dhe korruptiv, Sali Berisha shkoi deri aty saqë i shiti Taçit kompaninë shtetërore përpunimit të naftës ARMO, të cilën Taçi që e dorëzoi më pas tek azerët, me një mal me borxhe.
Në vitin 2012, Rezart Taçi qëndroi pas ofertës 850 milionë euro për privatizimin e kompanisë tjetër shtetërore të naftës, Albpetrol, por shuma nuk u derdh asnjëherë dhe kompania nuk u privatizua.
Rezart Taçi me bekimin e Familjes Berisha besohet se ka përfituar qindra milionë euro me skema mashtrimi, kapje tregu, evazion fiskal, kontrabandë nafte, privatizim të pasurive publike etj.
Taçi gjeti një formë të veçantë, atë përmes blerjeve të pikturave në ankand, për të paguar një pjesë të haraçit te Liri Berisha, bashkëshorti i të cilës lejoi Taçin të bënte kërdinë me paratë dhe pasuritë publike.
Skema të korrupsionit masiv, zhvatje, shpërdorime, kontrabandë, pastrim parash, blerje të mediave (gjyqtarë, prokurorë e drejtorë nuk kishte nevojë, pasi i kishte nën kontroll Berisha), arrogancë, truproja, ekspozim luksi etj. Ndonjë gazetarë që nuk pranonte paratë, Taçi, me miratimin e Berishës, i lëshonte truprojat duke e dhunuar.
Një tjetër biznesmen kontrovers që ka paguar te fondacioni i Liri Berishës është Francesco Bechetti, i dënuar nga drejtësia shqiptare me 17 vite burg për vjedhje, pastrim parash, falsifikim dokumentesh dhe skema mashtruese me TVSH-në.
Francesco Bechetti i ka dhënë 100 mijë euro fondacionit të Liri Berishës, duke blerë një pikturë të Orion Shimës.
Bechetti, i cili prej vitit 1997 që pretendonte se do të ndërtonte një hidrocentral në Kalivaç të Tepelenës, ka paguar haraç te Liri Berisha, në këmbim të lejes nga Sali Berisha për të vjedhur paratë publike me TVSH dhe pastruar para në Shqipëri përmes kompanive “Energji” sh.p.k. “Cable System” sh.p.k, “400 KV” sh.p.k dhe “Agon Set”.
Veprimi i drejtësisë ndaj Bechettit jo rastësisht u dënua nga Sali Berisha dhe Ilir Meta.
Biznesmeni i njohur Hetem Ramadani ka blerë gjithashtu një pikturë kundrejt një shumë prej 140 mijë eurosh. Për z. Ramadani nuk ka asnjë evidencë që mund të ketë përfituar nga pushteti i Berishës.

The owner of Union Bank, Emond Leka, has paid tribute to the Liri Berisha foundation, through the Tirana Financial Union. The SPAK file on the corruption and money laundering of Berisha's son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi, with 17 towers on the alienated state property of the former Partizani Club, confirmed once again that Union Bank serves as a launderer of the Berisha family's dirty money. According to the file, the company Homeplan, seized at the request of SPAK as a criminal asset, had chosen Union Bank to transfer the dirty money to the account of Jamarbër Malltezi, arrested for money laundering and passive corruption.
Only during the period August 2017 to December 2017, 80 dirty money transactions were reported through Union Bank. Union Bank covered the corruption and money laundering of Damir Fazllic and the Berisha Family with money in the form of loans, with properties in Porto Romano, which were purchased in cash by Argita Berisha and Jamarbër Malltezi for 10 euros per m2, immediately selling them to Fazllic's companies for 18 euros per m2, ostensibly to build an energy park.
In 2015, a secret OSCE report leaked to the media, with shocking data, about the criminal activity of the political dome of Tirana and some businessmen. Edmond Leka is described in the OSCE report as the man who has been moving dirty money for more than 20 years through “Western Union”, a company that deals with money transfers from Albania to other countries and vice versa.
Bankers Petroleum Albania LtD, with former 64-year-old Chinese administrator Huanqin Xiao and owners hidden offshore, which represents the largest theft of Albanian wealth since the Albanian nation was formed, has also paid a portion of the money earned from tax evasion to Liri Berisha's foundation, manipulating expenses every year.
(The oil-extortion company's revenues are around 6 billion euros, while its (fictitious) expenses are around 7 billion euros).
The brotherhood has been proven by several reports of the Supreme Audit Office. It has been proven by AKBN, Albpetrol, by several final court decisions, etc. It has been proven by a criminal file of SPAK that is investigating Bankers as a criminal group. Both the government of Sali Berisha and that of Edi Rama have 'lowered their pants' in front of Bankers, betraying the Albanians. In exchange for allowing the theft of Albanian underground wealth during the Berisha government, Bankers paid tribute to Liri Berisha.
