The State Police announces that from 09:30 onwards, there will be a temporary traffic jam on the main boulevard near Tirana City Hall. For this reason, the police suggest that alternative routes be used until the end of the rally, such as the Middle Ring and the Great Ring.
The police also call on the organizers and participants in the protest to distance themselves from any act of violence, reminding them of the cases of throwing Molotov cocktails that have endangered the lives of police officers.
"During several previous gatherings, held by the Alliance for the Protection of the Theater, in the square in front of the Tirana City Hall, repeated cases of opposition to the police forces, the use and throwing of Molotov cocktails and other objects, in the direction of the Tirana City Hall, have been recorded. seriously endangering the life and health of police officers and the participants in the gatherings.
The Tirana Local Police Directorate fully respects the right of citizens to organize and participate in peaceful gatherings.
