Journalist Arian Çani, commenting on the tensions in the Assembly between the opposition and the majority, stated that apart from the revolt of the deputies, he does not see any other revolt.

In an interview for the show "Now" on "Euronews Albania", he added that he does not see any sign from the citizens to rise in protests in support of the opposition action.

“Public opinion does not have in its genes the preservation of democracy and freedom at any sacrifice. The question I ask is why do we need a parliament when there are fights. Why not a parliament when everything goes well. Apart from the revolt of the deputies, I do not see any other revolt of other interest groups. The fact that it has been over a month that the deputies are sacrificing themselves and there are no people outside the Assembly. Why should MPs control the people? People are free", he said.
