Beqaj seems to have found another solution, while he will stay all day at SPAK to read the documents of the file
The former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, has requested to be acquainted with the acts of the file regarding the issue of sterilization. While SPAK has informed that Beqaj must pay 10 million ALL, the latter has refused.
It is learned that Beqaj seems to have found another solution, while he will stay all day at SPAK to read the acts of the file.
He decided to ask the prosecutors for time to read the documents of the file themselves. Since 9:00, the prosecutors have made the file available to him, in a special room where the lawyers stay, to familiarize himself with it. The former Minister of Health, who is accused of Sterilization, together with 8 other people, among them the former Deputy Minister Rrjepaj and the businessman Rrapaj. Beqaj refused to pay 1,200,000 Lek for the case.
These are by-laws approved by the Prosecutor's Office. Each prosecutor and court has approved the invoice for each act and procedure, while this is the first case when an official refuses to pay an invoice. Beqaj will follow the appeal procedures. The fact that it is such a high bill, apparently it is a voluminous file.
