Journalist Aida Topalli said during an interview that the operations of the State Police against online betting are not yielding results because it is difficult to catch the "heads". During a statement, the Director of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, informed that among the 116 arrested there are managers, but the main organizers have not been caught.
According to Topalli, it is difficult to catch the "heads" of those who invest in games of chance, as it is difficult to trace online links, as large amounts of money are being thrown into the market.
"Following the operation of the State Police against gambling, it should be noted that of course there will be a great coordination not only of the State Police, but also of the Gambling Supervision Authority, or even the Electronic Links Supervision Authority . So until now we have not gone to the people who sponsor them because it is about very large amounts of money that are being thrown into the market", said Topalli in "Euronews".
Topalli says that just like in any other criminal event, it will be very difficult to get to the "heads" of these illegal businesses. From the commitments of the Department of Economic Crime, it is expected that the operation will continue to reach the arrests of the leaders and not only the managers.
