Chaos in Parliament/ Frrok Çupi: The opposition, like Naim Murseli, is

Analyst Frrok Çupi said during an interview that the opposition deputies with their behavior are "killing" the normal life of the Albanian parliament. He says that with these messy acts, the opposition MPs are "killing" parliamentarism and democracy.

He compared the opposition led by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha to Naim Murseli in Kosovo, who has been arrested and is suspected of ordering the murder of his wife.

"The pulpit is like Naim Murseli, who paid and maneuvered to kill the person closest to him. The closest thing these MPs have is the Parliament, they have sworn an oath for that parliament. These do not live in the republic. They kill parliamentarism and democracy and the representation of the people, and it's shocking if you look at it like this," he said.

Asked how he views the SP's proposal for 60-day expulsion from the Assembly for all those MPs who become protagonists of violence and fighting in the Assembly, Çupi said that this is a measure that basically protects the Assembly and parliamentary life.

"These are some by-laws, they are some measures to protect the parliament and to protect the state. When these measures were not in place, such behavior was tragic", said Çupi in "ABC News".

He stated that the opposition is carrying out these messy actions to put pressure on justice, since the latter has switched to active actions accusing Sali Berisha of corruption in the privatization file of the former Partizani sports complex.

"The behavior of parliament and politics towards justice is like the chicken and the egg, which means that the violent part of the parliament is fighting with all illegal means, but it is fighting to put pressure on justice," he added. .
