For more than 90 minutes, under the slogan "Parliament of Crime", hundreds of citizens have been holding a protest in front of the Albanian Parliament, where the plenary session is also taking place.
The protest is a continuation of what is now known as the "flamingo revolution" that began a month ago and every afternoon thousands of citizens demand the resignation of Edi Rama. The civic revolt is directed at the entire political class in the country that for 35 years has held development hostage and has enriched itself by plundering public property, but not only.
"Parliament in the trash" is another call that protesters are making during the protest, while some citizens are at the entrance to the Parliament from the Elbasan street side, while others are standing at the entrance from the Castle area.
Protesters threw eggs at MPs' vehicles, while MPs were asked to surrender their mandates.
Unlike the protests taking place at the Prime Minister's Office, in today's protest in front of the Parliament, the police had taken measures, creating a security cordon, while dozens of officers were on standby.
