For 3 hours, citizens have been protesting in front of Parliament, while the plenary session is taking place, which has been accompanied by debates.
The protest is part of the "flamingo revolution", as the civic revolt against the political class as a whole and Prime Minister Edi Rama in particular has been dubbed.
Dozens of police forces, including those of the National Police, have intervened by creating a corridor that allows MPs to exit Parliament, while protesters have in some cases thrown eggs and water bottles at the vehicles of ministers and MPs.
"Shame, shame, shame," were the cries that the protesters threw at the Police, as the latter forced citizens to move off the road, thus freeing up the road axis.
"Parliament of crime" and "Parliament in the trash" were other slogans of the protesters, who are demanding that lawmakers surrender their mandates, while demanding that the Prime Minister resign.
"We do not give way to thieves and illiterates. This is public land, ours, we do not give it up," said one protester, while chants were made against the patronage.
