In a statement to the media, Malltëzi said that together with Sali Berisha, they are being held under political arrest, as there is no evidence or fact to prove violations of the law by him or former Prime Minister Berisha.
Further, Malltezi stated that the facts are missing, adding that he has become the lord of his land.
"The four due diligence reports that have brought a line do not have a single line, nor do they mention the name of Sali Berisha. There is no law, no nominative VKM during the entire time of DP governance, but they are for the entire population. The development of the private property was carried out by three pinjollas, heirs of private families as they agreed according to the law, not evicting any of the 41 informal families that were in those destructions. None of these three partners that we have benefited from the PD government. The only damage to the state's finances came from Edi Rama, who misused his office, bringing economic damage over 320,000 euros, which SPAK received as a court decision, but refuses to make it part of the case and question Edi Rama. "SPAK has created a fraud pyramid, hid and lied with official documents ," said Malltezi.
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha was also in SPAK today. The former prime minister is under investigation for the criminal offense of corruption together with his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi, who is accused by SPAK of having received income worth 5.4 million euros from a construction business in an irregular manner, thanks to the decisions of the government of taken from his father-in-law.
