The President of the Constitutional Court, Holta Zaçaj, the President of the Supreme Court, Sokol Sadushi, the Deputy President of the Supreme Court, Ilir Panda, and other members of the Constitutional Court, were part of the delegation that visited the USA.
In Washington they were received by the Deputy/assistant Attorney General, Mr. Bruce Swartz and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Ms. Yuri Kim.
The focus of the meeting was the advancement of justice reform and the separation of the new justice system from the influence of politics and crime.
The senior leaders of Albanian justice received guarantees from the US to continue their work, without being influenced by external factors.
This meeting was also a clear message for Albanian politics, to keep their hands off the new judiciary, as the latter has started to make some maneuvers to control SPAK, creating an observation commission.

The Albanian delegation met with the Deputy Assistant Prosecutor General, Mr. Bruce Swartz and the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Mrs. Yuri Kim.
The focus of the meetings was the progress of the justice reform in Albania and the importance of its successful implementation for the creation of an efficient and independent judicial system, with the aim of increasing public confidence in the delivery of justice, as well as moving forward on the path of Albania's membership in the European Union.
President Zaçaj and President Sadushi, expressing gratitude for the support provided by the United States of America, focused on the challenges faced by the judiciary in Albania, the complete recomposition of both courts, as well as the positive results towards improving decision-making. increasing efficiency and transparency.
