Journalist Marcel Rupi spoke at the 26th citizen protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where thousands of protesters are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama. In his speech, he said that the protest cannot be stopped, despite, according to him, efforts to dampen it.

Rupi initially addressed the protesters and the diaspora, while also mocking the patronage activists.

"Good evening, free and honest Albanians. Good evening, patronageists, and make it legal for us to break your algorithm. You can't get 'likes' and 'views' with all the threats, because they are not bought," he said.

Following his speech, the journalist commented on the role of the diaspora in the protest, saying that Albanians abroad will return again to join the rallies.

"Good evening diaspora. These people forget that when the diaspora is hit, Albanians stand up. The diaspora will start again and will be here. They fly with spirit here," Rupi declared.

He also called on citizens to join the protest, warning about the consequences of mass emigration.

"If we don't take to the streets today, we won't have the opportunity to see anyone left or right, because there won't be anyone left, they will have left! More tomorrow! Long live free and honest Albania," he said.

After speeches held in front of the Prime Minister's Office, protesters continued to march on some of Tirana's main streets, repeating calls for the government's departure and political change.
