Lawyer Spartak Ngjela has welcomed the decision of the Kosovo government to remove the dinar as the national currency.
While praising Albin Kurti as a great personality, Ngjela writes that this is a historic act for Albania in the Balkan plain.
Regarding the Serbs, the lawyer says that they came from nowhere in history.
" Removing the dinar as the national currency in Kosovo, and leaving only the Euro currency, is a great victory for the consolidation of Kosovo's independence.
Bravo Albin Kurti, this was a historical act, along with a historical value for Albania in the Balkan plain. Great personality restored today in Kosovo with the dominance of the Euro currency throughout Kosovo
Meanwhile, the president of Serbia, Vucic, speaks divisively. Kosovo is an independent state, and Belgrade's opinion speaks for the sovereignty of Serbia in connection with an independent state. These have always been the Serbs: sick, because in history they came from nowhere. Well done Albin Kurti for this great value to Kosovo and Albanians in the Illyrian Peninsula. "- wrote Njjela in a post on Facebook.
On February 1, the new regulation of the Central Bank of Kosovo (CBK) entered into force in Kosovo, which stipulates that the euro is the only currency with which payments can be made.
The decision has entered into force, despite calls from the international community for the postponement of the deadline for the implementation of the decision.
In the Serbian-majority municipalities in Kosovo, the Serbian dinar has been circulating since the post-war period.
The Serbian state pays Kosovo Serbs through a parallel system salaries, pensions, social assistance, and other benefits.
At the press conference, Vucic said that he will do everything for the Serbs in Kosovo to get their income again.
