Investigative journalist Artan Hoxha has revealed details of the murder of Gëzim Sinomat in the city of Vlora.
According to Hoxha, Sinomat's murder occurred due to the loss of a shipment of 250 kilograms of heroin in Belgium.
The journalist adds that the cargo was being transported by some people from the North of Albania and was taken by people close to Sinomat.
"It turns out that the cause is the loss of a load of 250 kg of heroin. We know who brings the heroin to Albania. This load was lost in Belgium, the people who brought it were from the North of Albania.
They were close people of Gëzim Sinomat. Opponents have demanded the return of the cargo, or they would react. When they lost hope, they attacked the person they managed to capture. There are 3 centers for heroin in Albania, Fieri, Elbasani and Shijaku.
The closest territory to Vlora is Fieri, this is a serious event, we are still without a perpetrator", said Artan Hoxha in Top News.
We recall that Gëzim Sinomati, 22 years old, was executed with a bullet on the evening of January 7 in Vlora. The young man had just returned to Albania for the holidays, as he was not reported to be a problematic person with a criminal record. The 22-year-old's father was known in Vlora and with the nickname "Sokol hūbderri".
