Process against Vangjush Dako, Court: 25 days for SPAK to complete the file

The Special Court gave SPAK 25 days to complete the file in charge of the former mayor of Durrës, Vangjush Dako, after finding that there is no expert report for the coastline tender.

The prosecution claims that Dako and some other officials misused their duties in this tender, by incorrectly calculating the limit fund and then not correcting this error. But for the court, the investigation is incomplete without determining the actual state of the investment and the damage.

The former mayor is accused of abusing his office on two occasions.

The preliminary hearing for Dako and 10 others will take place on February 27, when the court, after the expert report, will decide whether to take Dako and the other investigated persons as defendants.
