Journalist Eraldo Harlicaj, invited to Top Story, talked about a pornographic platform on Telegram, with only male members, who publish photos or videos of girls and use them to blackmail them.
"There is a group on Telegram, "Albkings", which is used by Albanians and Kosovars, who distribute pornographic materials, which turn into a source of blackmail, mainly for ex-girlfriends. They are photos or videos with faces, publish phone numbers, invite you to call for sexual favors. Our authorities find it impossible to track them down or shut them down. The group has 120,000 members, all men. They take and distribute videos without any control. Imagine the danger", said Harlicaj.
According to the journalist, this platform, which is increasing the number of members, cannot be closed by the authorities, while regarding TikTok, another network which has become a source of crimes, he said that it should definitely be closed.
"We cannot close them, because we cannot close the Telegram of the Iranians who hacked us. TikTok in Albania has met all the conditions to close it. We do not have the correct structures and laws. The structure has 25 employees. I myself should not be employed there because the salaries are ridiculous", he said.
