Analyst Neritan Sejamini has commented on Prime Minister Rama's clash with the directors of the Report program on Rai 3 and the phone call with the director of Rai, regarding the reportage of the show, which caused a stir in Albania.
In an interview for the show "The Unexposed", Sejamini says that Rama tried to close the case from the beginning because Italy was opening its cards, there is a lot of information about Albanian crime there.
"Italy is the country that has the most information about Albanian crime. The Italian institutions, the Police, the prosecutor's office there, if they open their cards, if they give the information to the media about the knowledge they have, they will bring down all the governments of the Balkans. And Rama does not have the luxury for the Italian media to start digging, and for the Italian media to find other sources to talk about these problems, because the danger that comes to him from there is much greater than the danger that comes to him from the American media.
Italy has extraordinary information that could harm the Albanian government and, above all, it has interests that are directly affected. And what Rama tried to do, it was possible to put immediate pressure to close this narrative and this courage of journalists from the beginning. He loves debate and fighting, but what Rama doesn't want is that he doesn't want Italian media investigations ," said Sejamini.
