A group of tourists, near Maja e Jezerca, have asked for help after having an accident.
It is suspected that one of them has passed away, but it is still unconfirmed due to the lack of contact with them. The Mountain Search and Rescue Service of Albania, the police force and voluntary residents of Theth and Valbona have started to help them.
The climb to Maja e Jezerce, from Thethi, requires a very good physical preparation as it takes up to 8 hours of climbing on a very difficult terrain and a very good knowledge of the area. A large part of foreign tourists prefer to climb without a local guide.
