The rains that swept the country after midnight have extinguished all the fires in Fier, Patos, Vlora, Selenica and Tepelena.
We recall that yesterday the oil wells of Albpetrol and the power station in Patos were endangered. Likewise, a large area of pines burned in the forest of Darezeze and in Peshta i Fieri.
Yesterday, at the same time, more than 11 fires were activated throughout the district of Fier, putting the fire services and police officers in difficulty.
And as a result of the immediate intervention of the services of the Fier, Lushnjë and Divjak Police Station, the perpetrators of all 9 cases were identified and criminally prosecuted.
Specifically, from the Crime Investigation Specialists of the Fier Police Station:
- the citizen AD, 62 years old, a resident of Pishë Poro, was arrested, because because he lit a fire on his land, to burn garbage, the fire got out of control and as a result, a considerable area of forest in the forest of Darëzeza was burned ;
- the citizen HL, 72 years old, resident of Oficina, Patos, was arrested, because because he lit a fire on his land, to burn garbage, the fire got out of control and as a result 50 hectares of crops owned by other citizens in this area;
- the GR citizen, 48 years old, resident of Frashër, was arrested, because because he lit a fire on his land, to burn waste, the fire got out of control and as a result 12 dynums of crops owned by the citizens of others;
- the citizen OC, 70 years old, a resident of Marinez, was arrested, because because he lit a fire on his land, to burn garbage, the fire got out of control and as a result dozens of olive roots, owned by another citizen, were burned ;
- the citizen N. Ç., 49 years old, a resident of Jagodina, was arrested, because because he lit a fire on his land to burn garbage, the fire got out of control and as a result the greenhouses owned by another citizen were burned .
Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Lushnjë and Divjakë Police Station referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a free state for the citizens of Ll. J., 79 years old, resident of Lumth, FK, 53 years old, resident of Lumth and NZ, 62 years old, resident of Goriçaj, as well as the citizen BK, 61 years old, resident of Remas, were declared wanted, because they lit fire on the lands owned by them, a surface of land with crops, olives and fruit trees, owned by other citizens, was burned.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
