The police have solved the serious incident in Zall Bastar, where an elderly man was found dead in the yard of his apartment. After verification, it was discovered that Xhemal Meta had been shot with a hammer by his neighbor, after a fight over trivial reasons.
The new director of the capital's police, Elton Alushi, appeared at a press conference, selling the discovery of the perpetrator as a great achievement for the police. But in the statement he himself admitted that when it comes to professional assassinations, the police are second to none. The Director of Police stated that investigations are continuing into the assassination of businessman Bujar Nasufi, but so far there is no trace of the perpetrator's capture.
" Regarding the serious criminal incident that occurred in recent days in Tirana, where citizen Bujar Nasufi was shot dead, the Tirana Local Police Directorate is fully committed to solving this criminal incident as soon as possible. Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, intensive work is being done, using special investigation methods and utilizing police intelligence to solve and legally document this incident."
Scientific and computer evidence has also been collected and administered that will serve the investigation to unravel the incident.
"The investigations are dynamic and complex and therefore we cannot provide any further information about this case ," he said.
The statement is similar to what the Minister of Interior, Ervin Hoxha, made a few days ago, who warned that they had the names of the people involved in the Dobraç assassination and would publish them, but that event was also forgotten. Even for this event, the police have not managed to arrest any perpetrators so far.
We also have the assassination in Vlora, where a 30-year-old man was killed in a mafia attack along the highway. Again, there is no suspect.
Ordinary events seem to be easily solved by the police.
