The Albanian-language Swiss newspaper LeCanton27 has done an investigation about Dubai, what it's like to live there and the contradictions.
With a population of 3 million inhabitants, it is known that there are 50 thousand sex workers in Dubai. In 2006, the United Arab Emirates deported 4,300 foreign prostitutes. It is believed that there are also 500 girls from Albania who work as escorts.
Meanwhile, expert Fation Softa said that mainly young people go to Dubai, as this is the demand in the market.
Invited to the show "Good Morning Albanians" on Euronews Albania, he emphasized that in Dubai they are looking for them according to their race.
"Mostly they are young people, as the demand in the market is for young people. Ages range from 18 to 25 years old. Then it depends on the value and the breeds they want. There are also origin preferences. They recommended that they be from Russia and areas of Brazil," he said.
