The return of bad weather in the country, especially in the coastal areas, has caused navigation or fishing for small vessels in Vlora to be blocked for 3 days.
The captaincy and the Vlora Port Authority announced that for the next 3 days there will be bad weather and waves, making it impossible for small and fishing vessels to sail, but the work of transport ships, including ferries, will not be hindered. .
The deterioration starts tomorrow (November 20) and is expected to last until November 23, (Saturday). Around 18:00 on Saturday, the return of navigation for the above vehicles is also expected.
Strong winds and waves up to two meters high are also expected.

"Based on the forecast for the deteriorating hydrometeorological situation inside and outside the bay of Vlora, during the dates 20-23.11.2024, starting at 12:00 on the 20th, in the direction SOUTH-SOUTH-WEST and NORTH-NORTH-WEST, in strength up to 6-7 bft with wind speed up to 15-20m/s and wave height from 1.50 to 2.00 meters.
In order to prevent any unexpected situation due to atmospheric conditions, we ask for the cooperation of all subjects that exercise activity in the maritime field, to take all the necessary measures to secure the tools in the port and increase the readiness of the crew in the tools floating.
