The State Police has not yet made any official announcement regarding today's protest announced by the Democratic Party. The protest will be held in front of the Parliament at 17:00, as the 2025 budget will be approved in the hall.
The police gave a negative answer to the opposition, in terms of security and the smooth running of the rally called in front of the Assembly.
But, after the announcement they made to the State Police about this gathering of Democratic Party militants, the protest organizers were told that because of the match between Albania and Ukraine, the blue uniforms will be concentrated around the stadium.
However, it is learned that a group of dozens of effectives will form a fence in front of the Assembly to protect this institution. In this response, the State Police has also given orders to the organizers to distance themselves from acts of violence, since in the last protests vandals were seen throwing Molotov cocktails, burning tires and breaking advertising boards.
Militants of the Democratic Party have warned to gather in front of the Assembly to oppose the approval of the Budget for 2025.
