Called to SPAK/ Artan Sako 230 mln euro tenders after SP came to power, part of

Artan Sako has often been criticized for his activity, where in at least two previous SPAK proceedings, the company he owns, 2T shpk, turns out to have participated in public tenders.

Last month, businessman Artan Sako, the brother of the former director of the Republic Guard Gramoz Sako, appeared at SPAK, a structure which is fighting corruption with tenders.

Sako is the administrator and co-owner with Dritan Troski of the client company 2T shpk, behind which Gramoz Sako is suspected.

Artan Sako was questioned in SPAK in the capacity of a person in the know, but it is not yet officially known about the case that SPAK is investigating and that Artan and possibly Gramoz Sako may have been implicated.

Artan Sako has often been criticized for his activity, where in at least two previous SPAK proceedings, the company he owns, 2T shpk, turns out to have participated in public tenders.

The 2T company, behind which the former head of the Guard, Gramoz Sako, is suspected to be hiding, strongly entered the tenders, putting its hands in the state budget after the SP came to power in 2013.

During the last 10 years, the 2T company has received about 230 million euros in public tenders, alone and in cooperation, with formal competition and without competition, mainly by table shopping, i.e. by default and in many cases with winning offers close to the fund limit .

Beneficiary of two concessions, there are strong suspicions that the 2T company represents one of the most powerful and consolidated lines of tender corruption.

Meanwhile, in the declaration of wealth in ILDKPKI, Gramoz Sako, in one case, stated that his wife took a loan worth 63 thousand euros from his brother, Artan Sako, to invest in her dental clinic.

It is about the clinic, which the Police Vetting Commission considered problematic as far as the movement of money is concerned.

Are 63 thousand euros the only amount that Gramoz Sako received from his brother Artan Sako, who received tens of millions of euros in public money?!

A deeper investigation of SPAK, following the money trail, would probably reveal wonders.

Some of the directors and mayors who signed multi-million euro tenders for the 2T company are currently in Fier prison, while others are under investigation for corruption by SPAK and are expected to be housed in this prison very soon./ Prapaskena
