"The country has returned to Mexico", Rexhepi for the murder of the

Forensic expert Artan Rexhepi spoke about the murder of the 14-year-old in Tirana.

Rexhepi said that extreme measures should be taken to prevent such serious events from happening again. According to him, detectors should be placed in schools and stationary services.

He emphasizes that community policing is a failure and the situation in our country is dire. Rexhepi added that the time for re-education schools has come.

"Order and security are in free fall. It's been a terrible week of crime. The week has been so terrible that we have to make our country the "Republic of Mexico". The state is run by technicians, not politicians. Community policing was a failure. The time has come to install stationary services in schools and not stay at the stage where "we reconciled the parties and everything is over". The situation is screaming for crime. Parliament is doing well to keep 1 minute of silence, but it is good that they call the Minister of Education to the interpellation. Place detectors in schools. Such a person, who has a knife with him, even the teacher is afraid of him, therefore there is a need to impose strict measures. The time of reeducation schools has come. For example, if a student is caught with a knife, maybe he is not punished, but a fine of 3000 euros is imposed, for example, and that parent thinks twice if the child has a weapon with him", said Rexhepi for "News 24".

Rexhepi also stated that policemen should have better working conditions, in order to work more effectively. For Rexhepi, there is no unsolvable crime, but there are investigators who are not skilled.

"Our murders have the problem that stolen cars are used, this is where the work of the police should be focused. There is a need for urgent intervention in the order. But there is no mafia in Albania. I don't want to soften the situation, but I don't believe there is a mafia. Here, everyone commits murder for their own account, more are committed for blood feuds and there are groups with family ties. There is no unsolvable crime, but there are godless investigators. It is also necessary to invest in technology, we need better conditions. It is the duty of the state not to take the police to the limits of comprehensibility. Tirana should turn into a "Big Brother", cameras should be placed everywhere, so that crimes can be detected. Tirana is big for us, but it is only a neighborhood of an American metropolis. It only takes a little will and desire for a better job", said the criminalistics expert.
