Invited to the show "The Unexposed", he said that the TikTok platform does not accept any adjustments after complaints.
" Because of social networks, we have had old tragedies in Albania, but we are leaving them aside. On January 6 of this year, a mother of 4 children killed herself in Durrës. A year ago, she filed a complaint with the police department on TikTok with a photo where they considered her to be a prostitute and turned her into an object of attack by all the residents.
This made a big noise in Albania. After that, there was a visit to Munich to the headquarters of TikTok and then the director for Southeast Europe came here, he met the Minister of the Interior Taulant Balla in the office, where it was explained that because we have few users from Albania, that the Albanian language is difficult, etc. he told him that I want a year to fix all this. It was seen as a half-deal from July, while the AMA states that it has a personal agreement with TikTok where it can remove certain videos. So there was a relationship, but it was not interfered with. We are the only country in Europe where TikTok does not accept any regulation ," he said.
