Prime Minister Edi Rama, during the official presentation of the OECD report on the results of the Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS), where Albania is ranked among the high-performing countries, said that the results of this report are very significant and show the dedication of Albanian teachers to the profession.
"We have come out with a significant and positive result in this survey, ranking alongside countries that are not at all second-rate," he said.
Rama praised the fact that, according to the survey, 85% of Albanian teachers have chosen teaching as a personal calling and as a genuine profession, considering this as a clear indicator of their passion and dedication.
"We feel proud of all the teachers of Albania," the Prime Minister emphasized.
Speaking about the challenges facing education today, he focused on the importance of supporting new teachers, reducing their workload, and integrating new technologies such as artificial intelligence into the teaching process.
And it seems that after the 'Sun' as a minister created by Artificial Intelligence, it seems that one of the next steps will be the inclusion of a 'new Sun' in education.
However, the report also highlighted a concern that, according to Rama, the authorities are aware of and are prepared to address:
"A portion of young teachers, especially those under 30, have reported that they may abandon the profession if they do not feel sufficiently supported and motivated."
The Prime Minister called for joint action to improve working conditions for teachers and to maintain and strengthen the quality of teaching in Albania.
