Criminology professor Ervin Karamuço calls the situation in recent weeks in Europe worrying, with Russia's occasional drone provocations.
Speaking about the international situation, Karamuço said that Moscow has recently been producing decoy drones, which enter the target territory and defocus radars, in order for other drones to operate.
" It's been a tense few days in New York at the UN General Assembly meeting regarding the war in Ukraine. Alongside efforts to recognize a Palestinian state, the main topic has been Russia's provocations in NATO countries."
There was a strong warning from the Polish ambassador to the UN at the Council meeting when he addressed Russia, "next time the drones will be shot down, don't come crying to us here. We have airspace violations in several European countries, NATO aircraft have been flown. Various drones have been spotted, advanced models."
It is believed that Russia produces 170 drones per day, they are different, there are spy drones, suicide bombers, heavy attackers and recently rogue drones. They are the first to attack, they distract radars and anti-aircraft batteries, to make room for other drones that carry out the attacks. Especially in NATO airspace, surveillance drones have been introduced, they are studying what measures are being taken from an operational point of view.
