Why is Serbia interested in the centers of conflict in the Balkans? Ben Andoni:

Analyst Ben Andoni discussed the situation in the Balkans and Serbia's ongoing threats.

Andoni said that Serbia tends to use the foci of destabilization to strengthen its role and to influence European and world politics.

"Serbia is conditioned by EU investments. And as long as the EU's investments are higher than those of Russia and China, then I think that keeping the foci is always in Bosnia and Montenegro, normally also in Kosovo. And that's why these factorize Serbia and allow these pathos," he told Euronews Albania.

He also did not leave without mentioning the large number of countries that abstained at the UN on the resolution for the victims of the Serbian genocide in Srebrenica. He added the high abstention vote against a genocide is an indication that the UN Charter should be revised.

"Surprisingly, the sensitivity of the individual in the 21st century is always lower. The vote is always political and diplomatic. The case of Serbia has brought almost in a screaming form that the Charter of the United Nations not only needs to be revised.

That large number of abstentions is very worrying, firstly for the future of the world and secondly for what surrounds us. We have a neighbor who constantly brings us problems. I think that North Macedonia will also have problems", concludes Andoni.
