Does the Municipality of Kamza have so much money that it can demolish stadiums, build a new municipality building, and build a new stadium?!
Rakip Suli continues his madness, where he will spend a full 5.4 million euros for the new Kamza Municipality building. An extremely high fund, when in fact the building exists and functions for beauty in that city. But, Suli is now thinking more about his luxury and that of his subordinates, where it seems that he no longer even asks about the Kamza Stadium. After bankrupting the team, it is now the turn of the field, where in its place Suli, the deputy mayors and directors of the municipality will now "play".
It seems like a very dubious plan, since on the one hand a 5.4 million euro tender is opened for the building and on the other hand the existing stadium is demolished and relocated to Valias, where millions of euros are spent on construction. But, instead of that money going to public works, Suli spends it on buildings. At the same time, Suli himself opens a tender worth about 400 thousand euros to house the needy. Anyone can make a difference, since he will spend millions of euros for his own and his subordinates' couches and for the needy, damn it!
According to documents available to VoxNews, the Municipality of Kamza has opened a tender with the object of "construction of a 1-story underground parking lot, a 3-story municipal building and rehabilitation of the square." The limit fund is a full 533,886,935 lek, or over 5.4 million euros.
Meanwhile, at the same time, the tender for "improving existing housing for poor and disadvantaged communities" was also opened, with a value of 38 million lekë. Many times less than the tender for the Suli office!
But Rakipi has already started his plan. VoxNews previously reported that he opened a tender worth 2.2 million euros for the stadium in Valias. In this way, he demolished the existing stadium to make way for the construction of the municipality in the old stadium.
In early 2024, Suli opened a tender for the project of the new Kamza Municipality, on the territory of the stadium, which has been operating for years and deliberately neglected by central and local structures. A few weeks later, after the publication of this scandal, he withdrew, also canceling the procedure.
But, months passed and Rakip Suli has continued with the next step. To prevent another accusation of demolishing the existing stadium, he has moved the "stones" to build a new stadium. He opened the tender for the construction of a new sports field a few months ago. The object of the procurement procedure is "the construction of the Valias sports field as well as the construction of the building + stairs". The fund for this procedure is a full 221,499,465 lekë, 2.2 million or with VAT the amount goes to a full 2.5 million euros.

A pure abuse of power, since the existing Kamza Municipality building is too large and has several floors. Perhaps the bloated administration has brought about the need for new capacities, but if there were a study, it would be about how to put people, employees, to work, and not dreams of new offices and stadiums!
VoxNews has previously reported on documents issued by the Municipality of Kamza, which in early 2024 opened a tender with the object of "designing the construction of a 1-story underground parking lot, a 3-story municipal building and the rehabilitation of the square", with a fund of 8,225,758 lek. At that time, the procedure was signed by Rebeka Sulejmani, deputy mayor of the Municipality of Kamza, as mayor Rakip Suli himself was probably afraid to sign.
In the accompanying documents, Suli requested the use of a 13,000 m2 area of the existing stadium to build the new Kamza Municipality building. The letters state that the football field “is in a deteriorated condition because there are no longer any sports activities there and its conditions are inadequate.”
"There is a total area of 13,000 m2 that will be demolished and because it is a very spacious environment, the new municipality building will be built there with all the facilities available to citizens. To meet the needs of the municipality but also of the visitors of the municipality, an underground parking lot with an area of 3,000 m2 is proposed. The proposed municipal building has an area of 1,664 m2 divided into three floors, and a 318 m2 basement," these documents read. Kamza's team itself was expelled from the Albanian Football Association in 2019, after a fight in that stadium. / Vox News
