Journalist Aleksandër Çipa, commenting on the recent event in the north of Kosovo, declared that Albania should be in a defined and not neutral position.
In an interview for "Euronews Albania", Çipa said that something like this had to be done from the beginning because it is imposed by belonging and identity, as he added that Albania's relationship with Kosovo is not a relationship like the other countries of the European Union or so. especially the area of the Western Balkans.
" Albania's relationship with Kosovo is not a relationship like the other states of the European Union or, even more so, of the Western Balkans. It is a report which is related to our national belonging and to a community of history of more than 100 years. In this perspective, it would always be necessary for Albania not to prefer a neutral or neutral position, but to have an engaged and determined position because this is imposed by belonging, identity and being part of the Albanian national space.
While on the diplomatic level, I think that the prime minister, even at the present moment, is not late, but on the contrary, this should be accompanied by all the intervention and capacities that the Albanian institutional diplomacy has to show solidarity with other countries of the European Union with a more realistic and more upright in relation to what happened in the area of northern Kosovo ", said Çipa.
