Sociologist Gëzim Tushi spoke about the online reactions of citizens, a significant portion of whom were positioned in defense of the murderer of Judge Kalaja and against the justice system.
According to the sociologist, Law 7501 is one of the main causes of this chaos with property in our country, as he emphasized that if it cannot be reversed, at least it can be corrected.
Tushi also said that judges must show integrity and called for processes not to drag on for years as this could instill a sense of self-righteousness among citizens.
"The event that occurred and the loss of the judge's life is a precedent that opened Pandora's box and society has reacted in a diversified way, related to the interests of each. It is a serious event. This in the enumeration of crimes is beyond what can be imagined and shows that crime seeks to dominate. There are cases when erroneous laws become a cause for self-justification. Law 7501 has caused this great chaos. The first article protects property, freedom and prestige.
We must correct the evil. Maybe we can't bring back 7501, but with intervention we can bring it back to normal. We have many laws, its duty is to protect justice. The third has to do with the personality of our judges. All three of these phenomena have become explosive and have strong reactions. We do not have a society with hatred towards justice.
