RENEA forces intervened to prevent a crime in the family, Rubjek village, Maminas in Durrës.
A 35-year-old man, after using violence against his father, threatened to kill him with an axe.
After the arrest, the 35-year-old's father asks the police to release his son as he says he suffers from depression. In a statement for journalists, father Bajram Hoxha says that he regrets calling the police.
"I called the police. He came in. At first it was with a bread knife and I with an ax, which I took to get him out. But he took the ax out of my hand because he's stronger. I told them to get him out because he doesn't need to isolated but treated by a psychologist", he said.
The father says that the boy lives in Italy and the loss of his mother a few years ago had weighed him down psychologically.
