The Institute of Geosciences has announced that on Wednesday afternoon and tomorrow, snowfall will cover areas in the North, East and Southeast.
The snowfall will also be followed by a significant decrease in temperatures and frosts can create various problems as well as difficulties in road transport.
"Light or locally light rain is expected in some districts this afternoon and tomorrow. In the North, East and Southeast at heights above 500 m above sea level, precipitation will be in the form of snow. Tomorrow, the minimum and maximum air temperatures are expected to reach: On the coast: 9/13 °C; in low countries: 6/11 °C and in mountainous countries: 0/3 °C", the announcement states.
The wind is expected to blow medium to strong in the north of the country, while in the rest of the territory it is expected to be light to medium.
