Today, moderate to locally intense rainfall is expected, accompanied by thunderstorms in Shkodër and Kukës counties.
According to the Institute of Geosciences, average rainfall is expected in Dibër, Lezhë, Durrës and Tirana counties, while weak to locally average rainfall is expected in the other counties (as shown in the table, respectively for each county).
In the mountainous areas in the North and Northeast of the country, at heights above 800m above sea level, precipitation will be in the form of snow.
Torrential and high intensity rainfall for short moments can create various problems as well as flooding in urban areas depending on the sewerage system in Shkodër and Kukës districts.
Minimum and maximum air temperatures are expected to reach:
on the coast: 10 / 15 °C
in low countries: 9 / 14 °C
in mountainous countries: 3 / 9 °C
The wind is expected to blow light to moderate.
