This Tuesday, March 31, our country will be affected by unstable weather conditions, according to official weather forecasts.
Throughout the 24-hour period, medium to dense cloudiness is expected to prevail, accompanied by occasional low-intensity rain. The rain will start in the early morning hours along the coastline and will gradually spread to the rest of the territory, the Meteorological Department predicts.
As the day progresses, precipitation will be present in most parts of the country. In some areas, mainly in the southwest and center, short-term thunderstorms are also expected, locally accompanied by electrical discharges.
Meanwhile, in the mountainous areas of the Alps and in the northeast and southeast of the country, at altitudes above 800 to 900 meters, low-intensity snowfall is expected.
Regarding temperatures, minimums are recorded in mountainous areas such as Korça, Peshkopia or Bulqiza, while maximums of up to 17°C are recorded in lower areas such as Tirana, Berat and Fier. Coastal cities such as Vlora and Saranda are expected to record maximum temperatures of up to 16°C.


The wind will blow from the northeast to the southeast, with an average speed of about 9 m/s, while along the coastline and valley areas it is expected to reach up to 18 m/s.
At sea, waves in the Adriatic and Ionian Sea are expected to reach force 3.
