The snowfall in the Korca region has stopped during the night. Dardha was the most affected by the snowfall, where the Kryq Boboshtica-Dardha axis was blocked, but the situation normalized.
Even the Qafë Thane-Pogradec axis was covered by snow where 4 snowplows were used to avoid any kind of problem in the circulation of vehicles, currently the situation appears to be normalized, while in all other axes of the southeast of the country there have been no problems.
Segments of mountain villages are being reviewed this morning for salting. The municipalities of the district do not report problems due to bad weather, while regarding the lack of electricity there are villages of the municipality of Maliq and Pogradec, but work is being done to repair them by the work groups that are in the field.
The Traffic Police appeals for increased caution when driving vehicles, especially in the road segments that lead to the tourist villages in the Dardha segment, winter tires must be used.
Since the early hours of the morning, the employees of Public Services have intervened with snow removal tools in Vithkuq, Shtylle, Panarit and Lubonjë streets. Currently there are no problems, the roads on these axes are passable and everywhere in the other administrative units the situation is calm.
