Journalist Fatos Mahmutaj stated that the vote recount does not change the election result, but has proven so far that democratic candidates have stolen each other's votes.
Mahmutaj said that since 2013, the DP has suffered increasingly deep losses, while adding that the Democrats are demanding Berisha's removal as leader of the DP.
"The recount that has been done so far has resulted in nothing extraordinary. The only extraordinary thing, expected and confirmed by the ballot boxes, is that the Democrats have stolen from each other. The rest is fine. If one or two votes, or one ballot box, were mixed up, just as they were mixed up for the SP, they were mixed up for the DP as well. Both major forces have had mix-ups and it does not affect the result. Berisha wants to delay the certification of the elections, because there is pressure from his own people. Some loudly, some silently, everyone is asking for his resignation. By dragging out the process, he is buying time to squelch the request for his resignation ," he told "Abc News".
