Analyst Frrok Çupi, commenting on the political situation in the country, declared that former Prime Minister Sali Berisha will be betrayed by his own people.
In an interview for "AbcNews", Çupi said that the opposition federation is using Berisha's electorate, but not the latter since, according to him, they know that he is dead as a politician.
" I am pulling Berisha as a bait towards me. He knows that there is nothing to benefit from Berisha and even they have a high cost but I think that he is just using it to take the people he has with him. They use Berisha's electorate, but they know that he is dead as a politician. I'm sure that at some point, the pulpit section will tell Berisha that I don't know you. He will not support him to release him from prison or from justice but he just pretends to be with him. The mistake in quotes that Basha made is that he distanced himself from Berisha time and time again and has been left without people. Not only for this reason, and he claims that one day people will wake up and come back. Basha, who represents the legal party, waits for the time. It seems as if it is spinning in a senseless state ," said Çupi.
Focusing on the postponement of the publication of the lists for deputies for next year's elections, the analyst said that Basha is trying to gain time, but this, according to him, is harming the Democratic Party more.
He also added that if Basha continues with the idea of boycotting, delays and excuses, it will be useless for the Democratic Party to participate in the elections.
"Basha plays with vanity, vanity, but it's typical because he doesn't have many scruples. Berisha is the same, he lied all the time but shouting and being afraid. Berisha says I am a mountaineer, honest and uncorrupted. These cover the lie, but Basha is vulnerable, he cannot shout and he does not call the repetition of the mistake for nothing. He ran away from the parliament, burned the mandates, but now you saw that he boycotted again. He did not go to the committees, to his parliamentary duties.
