The trial for the murder of 14-year-old Martin Cani continues behind closed doors. In the next session, five minors appeared to testify, as persons who had knowledge of the tragic event that occurred a few months ago.
Among the witnesses was the minor KB, who was at the scene at the time of the crime and about whom the victim's family members had previously expressed allegations.
In accordance with legal provisions, the minors were questioned without the presence of the defendant Mario Përlleshaj, suspected of being the author of the murder. The latter, through his defense lawyer, has so far denied having shot at Martin Cani, claiming that his target was Luis Meçe, who was injured.
In the next session, which is expected to take place in the coming days, seven more people have been called to testify, four of whom are minors, again in the capacity of persons with knowledge of the event.
