The Tirana Prosecutor's Office has seized the assets of a person convicted of drug trafficking in England.
According to the prosecution, the property was in the name of citizen Arnaldo Lleshi, who is convicted of the criminal offense of 'Production, sale of narcotics' provided for by Article 283 of the Criminal Code.
According to the Prosecution, Lleshi has not economically justified the assets in question and it is suspected that they were acquired from criminal activity in the English state.
The seized assets are a building, 2 Opel Corsa and Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles, and a car business.
Prosecutor's Office Announcement:
The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Tirana, seized the assets of citizen A.Ll., convicted in England for the criminal offense of 'Production, sale of narcotics' provided for by Article 283 of the Criminal Code.
In the framework of the investigations into property proceedings no. 04, dated 22.05.2025, it resulted that citizen A.Ll has been convicted in England for the criminal offense of 'Production, sale of narcotics' provided for by Article 283 of the Criminal Code and his assets are not justified from an economic point of view and are suspected of being related to and derived from criminal activity.
Citizen B.Ll. (the subject's father) owns a plot of land with an area of approximately 275.2 m2 and a 2-storey building + basement + attic registered on 24.03.2021. While his brother owns a private business with a field of activity: vehicle repair, retail trade of used and new parts, import, sale and purchase of cars.
From the analysis of the facts and the documentation administered regarding the movable property of citizen A.Ll., it results that there is an unjustified economic level and it is suspected that this property was acquired as a result of his criminal activity in the production and sale of narcotics.
For this reason, the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Tirana requested the seizure of the following assets that are registered in the name of persons related to the subject:
· Real estate with no. 416/118, with a total area of 403.1 m2 "Plot" and 275.2 m2 building, ½ part;
· 2 vehicles of the type Opel Corsa and Jeep Grand Cherokee; and
· Commercial activity with the field of activity of vehicle repair, retail trade of used and new parts, import, sale and purchase of cars with the trade name Auto Lleshi, NUIS L52116150G."
