Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço has spoken about the violence caused by social networks. A very widespread phenomenon recently, turning into a concern for the very fact that many cases have worsened to the point of endangering life.
Karamuço brought up another phenomenon that, according to him, has spread in North Macedonia, adding that during the month of Ramadan, bullying towards religion has increased.
"The cases are even more, but they take the courage to make complaints. Now they think they have a freedom to do anything. We, the institutions, are also to blame here, since this trend has evolved very quickly and we have not yet taken measures with a discipline that would save people's lives and at the same time damage the image or existential damage that is caused. These are trends that are not only observed in Albania, no. This is observed throughout Europe. In the discussion that took place today in the American Congress, there is talk of blocking everything for the age of 14, but the age of 16 is also being discussed. So we have to take it more seriously since we have many events that have turned into murder, physical violence, persecution, blackmail. We also need to make the ages that are a little older aware to be observers and whistleblowers. Especially now in this month in North Macedonia there is an increasing number, other religions are bullied for not respecting the month of Ramadan and these go much higher ", said Karamuço for "Abc News".
