Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço commented on the statements of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who emphasized that there will be retaliation against all police officers who have maintained contact with organized crime.
Invited to the show "Real Story", he emphasized that these statements have a campaign character and there are those who believe them, but also those who disagree and reject this idea.
Sali Berisha also attacked SPAK. The criminal expert further stated that in addition to politics, SPAK also has its own elections, since the chairwoman of BKH has finished her mandate and has expressed her willingness to run for re-election.
" These are the rhetoric of a campaign, they have their support, there are also those who oppose them. SPAK will continue with hope, because this year there is indeed a political campaign, but there is also a SPAK campaign, the head of BKH is leaving, she has completed her mandate. She even submitted a request to be re-elected a few days ago and they told her to wait because it has not been opened yet ," he said,
Referring to his sources, Karamuço stressed that the head of the BKH had a clash with the head of the Special Prosecution Office, due to misunderstandings in legal provisions.
As Aramuço adds, there have even been attempts to dismiss him from office, which was also avoided by the stance taken by the international community.
" From the information I have and from my sources, there have been several cases where there have been clashes between the BKH and the Prosecutor's Office, and sometimes they have even been caused by misunderstandings of legal provisions about what differences the OPGJ has from the BKH investigator and whether the BKH remains a vestibule of the Special Prosecutor's Office. This has led to major clashes and attempts to dismiss her, but of course with the different approach that the internationals have had, such a thing has been neutralized. Her re-election seems impossible to me ," he said.
